Happy New Year! I hope you all enjoyed Christmas with family and friends, creating new memories. The new year is a wonderful time to remember and reflect on the ups and downs in the past year. Its can be a fun activity to do as a family. In the classroom we took some time to reflect and set a goal for the new year. Now the important thing about setting a new goal is that you think about how you plan to meet that goal. That's the difference between a dream and a goal. After we had written up our goals for the new year we created a backdrop to display them on. Now they are something you will be able to look back on when this year comes to a close. And what could be a better backdrop then fireworks made by print-making!
This week think about asking your child what goal they set for themselves in the new year. You could also share a goal you've set for yourself and how you plan to meet it. Sharing our goals is a great way to stay accountable!
